Rutegrs SPAA Research Brief

The Rutgers SPAA Research Brief "Is Open Government a Performance Target of U.S. Federal Agencies?" revisits the framework developed in previous studies of the Freedom of information Act (FOIA), applies and develops it in the light of new U.S. initiatives, and focuses on a concept of open government that is broader than FOIA alone.

The research was conducted by SPAA Associate Professor Suzanne Piotrowski, with David H. Rosenbloom from American University and Renmin University of China; Sinah Kang from the School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) at Rutgers University–Newark; and Alex Ingrams from Tilburg University.
