CivicPanel – Privacy

CivicPanel enforces a very strict privacy and confidentiality policy. The information and answers you provide are used only for public-purpose or academic research. Results are published only in aggregate or summary form.

In addition, we collect only the minimum identifying information necessary -- so we don’t ask for street addresses or phone numbers. Moreover, the little identifying information we maintain is completely removed from all databases compiled for final research purposes. We will never call you. And we will never, ever sell or release your information to someone else.

You can remove yourself from CivicPanel at any time you wish after joining. Your participation in CivicPanel is always entirely voluntary.

The CivicPanel project has been approved by the Institutional Review Board of Rutgers University (IRB#E10-181).
